To celebrate the birthday of Theodor Seuss Geisel, the famed author of 46 children's book under the name of Dr. Seuss, Cole Canyon Elementary (Murrieta, CA) held their first annual Dr. Seuss Festival on Friday, March 2, 2012.
Principal Mike Marble invited Synch Bands to come and setup a booth. We gladly accepted the invitation and donated a percentage of our sales back to the school.
The event was a blast for everyone involved. Some of the biggest inflatables I had ever seen were setup for the kids enjoyment, along with a ton of fun games and arts/craft booths.
We had a steady stream of kids and parents coming by the booth to see what Synch Bands were all about. It was so cool to see their faces light up when they found out that they would never have to worry about tying their shoes ever again :)
Some parents took the opportunity while their kid's shoes were off to play in the inflatables to come over and buy Synch Bands and have us replace their kids laces right on the spot. We definitely added some fans to the Synch Mob that night.
All in all, it was a great event. Thank you Principal Marble and Cole Canyon Elementary for having us! And, we look forward to our next event scheduled at Tony Tobin Elementary in Temecula on Saturday, 3/10/12 from 11am-3pm.
